Terms & Conditions
Rates are charged on a nightly basis and may change without prior notice,
unless payment has already been made.
Payment Terms:
A deposit of 50% is required upon booking confirmation, with the balance due 4 weeks before arrival. If guests choose pay the deposit via EFT (elect transfer), the payment must be completed within 12 hours of booking confirmation. Failure to do so may result in the cancellation of the booking. For reservations made within 30 days of the date, full payment is required at the time of booking.
**Cancellation Policy**
Please note that we a strict cancellation policy. Cancellations or postponements will only be considered if we can fill the booking.
1. Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will result in a forfeiture of 100% of the total amount.
2. Cancellations made 60 days prior to arrival will result in a forfeiture of 50% of the total amount.
3. Cancellations made 90 days prior to arrival will result in a forfeiture of 25% of the total amount. In exceptional circumstances (such as illness or emergencies), we are willing to discuss alternative arrangements based on availability. Please notify us as soon as possible.

Check-in: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM Check-out: 11:00 AM
Access and Speed Regulations:
Bushveld Villa disclaims responsibility for access controls, speed limits, and other regulations in Marloth Park.
Cleaning/Servicing:
Our villas are serviced based on the duration of your stay. If you prefer not to be disturbed, kindly notify our staff by 8:00 PM the day prior.
Children:
Parents are fully responsible for their children, and we are pleased to accommodate them at standard rates without any additional equipment provided. Our rooms feature a standard double bed in two options, suitable for both kids and adults. Please be aware that, due to space limitations, we cannot provide an extra bed in these rooms.
Unfenced Pool:
Please note that our villa features an unfenced pool. Guests are encouraged to use this area with caution and are fully responsible for the safety of their children.
Pets:
All pets are prohibited within Marloth Park.
Loadshedding:
Power outages and loadshedding may happen at any time as per the government's schedule. Bushveld Villa is not liable for any damages caused by these events.
Smoking:
is not allowed inside the building. Ashtrays are available for outdoor spaces.
Fire Safety:
Our region is particularly susceptible to fires during the dry season We urge you to be cautious with fire sources, including barbecues and cigarettes. Please ensure cigarette butts are disposed of correctly, and never leave fires unattended. Collecting firewood is not allowed. Fires are permitted only in the designated barbecue area and can only be lit by an adult. Each unit is equipped with fire extinguishers for your safety.
Drones:
Local laws prohibit the use of drones.
Parties:
In accordance with local regulations, playing loud music or causing any disturbances to the peace is prohibited.
Hunting and shooting:
Are not allowed, as well as the extraction of any natural materials such as plants, rocks, or bones.
Damages:
If you notice any missing or damaged items, inform us. A complete inventory check is performed before and after your stay, and any missing or damaged items will be charged accordingly.
**Please note we will take R1000 refundable breakage deposit**
**Walking During the Day**
Please stick to designated paths while. After dark, walking is permitted only on illuminated paths between units. Remember, while this isn’t a Big Five reserve, you are in a bush environment!
**General Guidelines**
- Approaching or capturing wildlife is strictly forbidden. - Feeding animals is done at your own risk. - This is a wildlife area, and animals deserve respect. Never approach them; remain calm, and move slowly and quietly. If an animal is blocking your path, calmly change direction and give it space. - Please do not litter: Waste can be harmful or even fatal to animals. Dispose of your trash properly and pick up any litter you encounter. - Fireworks are not allowed. - Respect the privacy of fellow guests, just as you would want yours respected.
**Disclaimer**
Bushveld Villa , along with its management, staff, and anyone affiliated with the property, shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or illness experienced by guests or others while on the premises. Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow guests and the resident animals.
**Insurance Recommendation**
We strongly advise all guests to obtain travel insurance that covers cancellations and unexpected events during their stay. Bushveld Villa will not be responsible for any damages or losses not covered by our insurance.
**Jurisdiction and Applicable Law**
These terms and conditions are governed by South African law. In case of any disputes or legal matters arising from your booking, the courts in Mpumalanga, South Africa, will have jurisdiction. Guests agree that all legal proceedings will adhere to South African law.
